Darrell Mann, AIA

Project Architect

Darrell has been in the Architecture Profession since 1981. Before practicing, Darrell attending South Plains College at which he studied Building Technology and took some Technical Drafting Courses at Texas Tech University. Since then, he has worked on all project types for several architecture firms, including his own Design-Build Firm, Mann Architecture for 12 years before working at MWM Architects. Darrell became a part of MWM in September of 2013. Since working at MWM, Darrell has specialized on retail projects, restaurants, banks, offices, museums, religious facilities, and other commercial buildings.

Darrell has been a part of many organizations including the Texas Society of Architects, American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Lubbock Chapter of AIA. Darrell has also been involved with the Scholarship Committee at the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University. Within the city of Lubbock, Darrell has served as a FEMA Inspector, Home Inspector, and City of Lubbock Housing Authority Inspector.

When Darrell is not at the office, he spends most of his time with his wife of 32 years, Karen. Together, they have a daughter Julia, who is married to Christian.
