Nathan Zook graduated from the University of Minnesota with his Master of Architecture degree and is currently working toward become a Registered Architect. He has been working in the field of architecture since 2005 with most of his work being in the K-12 Education field, working on improvements to school facilities that benefit the students and teachers that use them. Prior to joining MWM, Nathan worked with a large school district on their capital improvement program, overseeing the design delivery schedule and client review of design documents. He has also worked with a facility planning consulting group, providing programming, master planning, and pre-design analysis for a number of public and private clients. Since joining MWM Architects in August of 2015, Nathan has worked on projects for Slaton ISD, Crosbyton ISD, and Wall ISD. He has done design work on classrooms, kitchens and cafeterias, career technology classrooms, and athletic facilities as well as spaces that perform as tornado shelters. Nathan acts as a project manager and is responsible for producing design and construction documents, communicating with clients, coordinating with other members of the design team, keeping the project on schedule, and observing the construction progress when design is complete.
When Nathan is not at the office, he spends his time with his wife, Julie, an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University, and has two children in the Lubbock Schools.
